EFFECTIVE JAN 1, 2008, NACUD WILL NO LONGER COLLECT REFUNDABLE WATER METER DEPOSITS. CUSTOMERS WILL BE PAYING THE FOLLOWING SERVICE CHARGE FEES WHEN APPLYING FOR WATER SERVICE. THESE FEES WERE PASSED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON 11/15/07.
RENTER'S SERVICE CHARGE FEE	$ 65.00
HOME OWNER'S SERVICE CHARGE FEE	$ 40.00
BUSINESS SERVICE CHARGE FEE	$100.00

RETURN CHECK FEE	$ 25.00
METER TRANSFER FEE	$ 15.00

CONNECTION FEE CHARGE FOR NEW SERVICE	$550.00
FOR LINE EXTENSIONS, POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS WILL BE ASSESSED AN ADDITIONAL CONNECTION FEE OF $1,000.00 OR A PRORATED MONTHLY SERVICE CHARGE UNTIL THE ADDITION CONNECTION IS PAID IN FULL.

NACUD serves rural North/East Anderson County and a part of West Campbell County with over 300 miles of line.

NACUD has a 100% Sanitary Survey rating by the TN Department of Environment and Conservation.

The water system not only has an approved rating but also a perfect score.

A copy of the current Consumer Confidence Report can be picked up in the office or mailed out upon request.

Board Meetings are held at 6:30 PM at the utility office on the third Thursday of each month.

Bills are payable at the office or via PO Box 477, Lake City,
and at Suntrust Banks in Lake City and Clinton, TN.
